![]() ![]() For all newer players, remember that you can’t grind for cards unil after you’ve become a Collector. Now, anyone looking just to grind, that’s all you really need, but for other players, perhaps you’ll appreciate the rest of the guide and specifices of each card (even though, spoilers, they are already written in the pictures). I’ve compiled a small list of 10 absolute must-have cards that you should strive to have for any class you happen to be in, along with location, the best area to fight them continuously, and tips for defeating them faster. Of course, such great items don’t come easily, and yes, sometimes they may even take an hour or two of constantly fighting the same enemy after the EXP meter has already stopped moving for you because you’ve been fighting the same enemies for 40 minutes without any results, but hey, it’s literally the name of the game to grind. Most permanent buffs that don’t take up item slots or whatever happens to be in your MMORPG or MOBA do small things, like increase things by 1 or 2 percent, or give your character +2 to ATK or DEF, numbers which really don’t matter too much, but in Grindea, you get automatic results. Some are not as amazing as others, some are ridiculously good, and overall, the important thing with the cards is YOU SEE AND FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. One of the core collection mechanics in the game is cards (surprised, I know, they only make a huge deal out of it after Giga Slime), and cards give your character a surprising amount of small buffs, effects, and even strange modifiers that stack with your talents and skills. Loli’s back, everyone, I hope you didn’t miss her too much. I think most targeted spells such as meteor are a bit harder to use so I tend not to use those often.A small guide on must-have cards for your character Intro to Grindea’s Cards And you can always refund your skillpoints if you don't like the spells you chose. If you put all your skillpoints into one or two spells which you like then you'll always end up doing fine. In the end it's up to you what you enjoy to play. Talents don't matter too much, pick them if they have synergy with your build (e.g. I think that still uses flamethrower for bosses though. I'm sure there's also some archer build out there but I haven't tested it yet. The swarm spell used to be broken but they nerfed it so now it's only decent. ![]() Another magic build uses the plants, which just means you spam the plant at silver charge and use them to deal damage (which works especially well for farming or if you can keep enemies in one place). It has high damage and while you have to stand still to use it on early levels, at gold charge you can move while using it. Magic has a build focused around Flamethrower and frosty friend, the idea is that enemies focus on your frosty friend while you charge flamethrower and obliterate them. I'd say the latter build has more damage but is a bit harder to dodge attacks. The disadvantage is that you have to stand still to use it but against most enemies you can lure them to hit a charged attack. The other build is based on Blade Flurry, which I personally enjoy more. 2H also has a build based on the whirlwind attack, which is great for Arcade mode and also decent for story mode.ġH has a build based on Shadow Clone which is a passive skill so you just have 1 attack which you need to worry about. I'm playing 2H berserker atm, which is a glass cannon build (so it's very nice for farming), but I wouldn't say that's very beginner friendly. ![]()
